We are Anaïs Amdo Candles.
Our mission is simple: to create candles with captivating scents, beautiful minimalist design with the best ingredients that respect and do not harm the earth.
Our dreamy scents are inspired by nature and travel, moments and memories.
Each of our candles is wicked, poured, and labelled by hand in small batches in Indonesia.
Our Materials
All our candles use 100% soy wax for an eco-friendly clean burn. We do not use any addictive or blend of paraffin wax, as paraffin is a bi-product of the refinery process of petroleum oil
Soy wax is non-toxic, biodegradable and contains only vegetable based ingredients (100% vegan).
Our scents are carefully formulated with intention and strictly free of phthalates and parabens.
Our Packaging
We use glass and tin container that can be reused and repurposed. At the end of its life (when there is about 1 cm of wax remaining at the bottom), we recommend removing the leftover wax with a knife. Then pour hot water into the container, allowing it to sit for a minute, scrape off any residue and then clean it with soap and water.
There are many options to repurpose these containers: as a beauty and jewellery storage, flower vase, office supplies organisation, and the airtight bamboo lid will keep spices fresh and dry.
When shipping, we try not to use any plastic when possible. Candles are wrapped in honeycomb paper, packed in cardboard box and sealed with water activated tape.
